Who are we?

Our story

Five dogs and ten alpacas later, we now live on our own farm in France.
In 2021, we made the move from Belgium to build a life that truly suits us — close to nature, with animals around us, and space to run our business from our passion.

Frank & Danielle

We are Frank & Danielle, the founders of Les Alpagas de Luzier — a small-scale alpaca farm built from a love for animals, nature, and a life close to the land.

How it started

Our adventure began years ago when we bought our first holiday home in the Dordogne. What started as a country house for peace and dog love grew into a dream to live permanently in France and build something meaningful.

In 2021, we took the plunge. We sold everything in Belgium and moved to the south of France. Not an easy decision, but the right one: a life with animals, nature, and real human values.

The alpaca farm

More than ten alpacas later, our alpaca farm is a reality. Frank is now officially a farmer, and together we care for these beautiful animals with attention and respect.
Alpacas are naturally calm herd animals. They communicate subtly, are curious without aggression, and perfectly fit the lifestyle we wanted to create: a place with attention for animal, human, and environment.

How the farm grew

When we moved to France, the plan was simple: to build a place that feels good nów. In the years that followed, our herd grew, and ideas arose to share more than just our animals.

From 2026, we will therefore offer experiences such as:
• alpaca meet & greet by appointment
• quiet, yet exciting moments with alpacas
• small educational moments about their way of life
